Who's Hoolia

A Mama

My commitment is to give my Boys a Happy mother… Years of Self help books, practicing Art, learning to expand myself and my spirituality goes to fulfil that commitment… Becoming a parent is the most rewarding and challenging experience!

An Argentinian Artist

Life was pretty hectic and dangerous for my parents in Buenos Aires from the the Military Cue which held Argentina in terror from 1976 till 1983.. So in 1980, when my brother Diego was 7yo and I was 4 yo, they decided to relocate to a small village of aproximately 20 thousand people in the North of Patagonia called San Martin de los Andes. It was a lot slower and isolated…  Cold and breathtakingly beautiful!

Art, crafts was in me since very early age… I’ve been making things for friends and family since I can remember… So when I finished high school in 1993, I headed to Buenos Aires to study at the School of Fine Arts Prilidiano Pueyrredon.

An Australian Immigrant

In 2001 I was 25yo when I moved to Australia for love and adventure… A few years of bicycles, live music and backyard parties followed up… I started making jewellery and continued painting and having exhibitions at Independent Galleries of Melbourne… While very slowly brewing a persistent desire to make music… Very happy, very lucky, young and fresh years of my life!

My brother Diego passed away in 2004.. Struggle with grief, depression and addiction until…

Change is the only constant as they say… In 2007 I met my new partner and father of my boys! And in the next few years apart from becoming a housewife, mother of two boys 14 months apart, we moved to Argentina for almost a year. Then back to Melbourne, move to the burbs, got post natal depression, Dad Passed, moved to Cairns, bought a house, Mum passed and then separated… Jeeezzz… Yup! Never a dull moment!
